3030 AN ACT FUNDING THE STATE -WIDE FIREARMS TRAFFICKING TASK
3131 FORCE BY REDUCING CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM GRANTS.
3232 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
3333 Assembly convened:

3535 That the general statutes be amended to reduce Citizens' Election 1
3636 Program grant amounts for legislative candidates by ten per cent and 2
3737 that those funds be redirected to the Department of Emergency 3
3838 Services and Public Protection for the purpose of restoring funding to 4
3939 the state-wide firearms trafficking task force, established pursuant to 5
4040 section 29-38e of the general statutes. 6
4141 Statement of Purpose:
4242 To provide funding to the state-wide firearms trafficking task force
4343 and prevent deaths from illegally trafficked firearms.
