| 38 | 38 | That chapter 383b of the general statutes be amended to authorize 1 | |
| 39 | 39 | the Commissioner of Public Health to fine a person who uses the title 2 | |
| 40 | 40 | of "social worker" two hundred fifty dollars and issue a cease and 3 | |
| 41 | 41 | desist order if such person has not attained (1) a baccalaureate or 4 | |
| 42 | 42 | master's degree in social work from an educational institution 5 | |
| 43 | 43 | accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, or (2) a doctoral 6 | |
| 44 | 44 | degree in social work. 7 | |
