Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2019) The Department of Social Services 1 may, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, increase capacity for and 2 reduce the waiting list of the Medicaid waiver program established 3 pursuant to section 17b-283 of the general statutes that provides home 4 and community-based services to persons who (1) are institutionalized 5 or at risk of institutionalization; (2) are twenty-one years of age or 6 younger; (3) have a physical disability and may also have a co-7 occurring developmental disability; and (4) meet the financial 8 eligibility criteria established for the waiver program. 9 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: Section 1 July 1, 2019 New section APP Joint Favorable Subst.
