20	19		AN ACT CONCERNING IM PROVED PUBLIC ACCESS TO CERTAIN
21	20		BUSINESS RECORDS FIL ED WITH THE SECRETAR Y OF THE STATE.
22	21		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
23	22		Assembly convened:

25	24		Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2019) The Secretary of the State, or the 1
26	25		secretary's designee, shall direct the Commercial Recording Division of 2
27	26		the office of the Secretary of the State to make enhancements to the 3
28	27		CONCORD commercial records database, on or before July 1, 2020, 4
29	28		that allow a member of the public to ascertain the name and address of 5
30	29		a business entity's agent for service of process by entering the name of 6
31	30		the owner, officer or agent of a business entity in the database. 7
32	31		This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
