2019 AN ACT CONCERNING TH E PENALTY FOR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES

2221 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2524 Section 1. Section 13a-26 of the general statutes is amended by 1
2625 adding subsection (g) as follows (Effective October 1, 2019): 2
2726 (NEW) (g) Any person who operates on a parkway in this state a 3
2827 commercial motor vehicle that is not permitted on such parkway, as 4
2928 provided in this section, or section 14-298-249 of the regulations of 5
3029 Connecticut state agencies, shall be fined five hundred dollars for each 6
3130 violation. 7
3231 Sec. 2. Subsection (b) of section 51-164n of the general statutes is 8
3332 repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective 9
3433 October 1, 2019): 10
3534 (b) Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes, any 11
3635 person who is alleged to have committed (1) a violation under the 12
