| 25 | 25 | | Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Veterans 1 |

| 26 | 26 | | Affairs shall conduct a study of the Operation Academic Support for 2 |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Incoming Service Members (OASIS) centers already established at 3 |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | certain public institutions of higher education in this state to (1) 4 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | identify means of expanding availability of any programming 5 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | developed or service offered at such OASIS centers to any veteran, 6 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | regardless of enrollment at any such public institution of higher 7 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | education, and (2) evaluate the feasibility of any such expansion. The 8 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | commissioner shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 9 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of such study to the joint 10 |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of 11 |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | matters relating to veterans' and military affairs on or before January 1, 12 |
