AN ACT CONCERNING AC CESS TO VETERANS' RE SOURCES
INFORMATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Not later than January 1, 1
2020, the Department of Veterans Affairs shall collaborate with the 2
United Way of Connecticut to ensure that the 2-1-1 Infoline program 3
provides veterans who served in the armed forces, as defined in 4
subsection (a) of section 27-103 of the general statutes, who access the 5
program with information on (1) public and private resources 6
available for veterans, and (2) the steps by which such veterans may 7
access such resources as soon as practicable. 8
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
