AN ACT CONCERNING ME DICAID COVERAGE OF C HIROPRACTIC
SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. Section 17b-28e of the general statutes is amended by 1
adding subsection (d) as follows (Effective from passage): 2
(NEW) (d) Not later than October 1, 2019, the Commissioner of 3
Social Services shall amend the Medicaid state plan to include 4
treatment by a chiropractor licensed under section 20-27 as an optional 5
service covered under the Medicaid program. The commissioner may 6
adopt regulations, in accordance with chapter 54, to implement the 7
provisions of this subsection. 8
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
