2019 AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF THE STATE LAWS GOVERNING
2120 CIVIL PROCEDURE.
2221 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2524 Section 1. (Effective from passage) There is established a working 1
2625 group to study the state's laws governing civil procedure as set forth in 2
2726 title 51 and chapter 54 of the general statutes. The working group shall 3
2827 receive, consider and prepare comments and recommendations on 4
2928 proposed changes to such laws governing civil procedure. The 5
3029 working group shall consist of the following members who have 6
3130 familiarity with the provisions set forth in title 51 and chapter 54 of the 7
3231 general statutes: (1) One appointed by the speaker of the House of 8
3332 Representatives; (2) one appointed by the president pro tempore of the 9
3433 Senate; (3) one appointed by the majority leader of the House of 10
3534 Representatives; (4) one appointed by the majority leader of the Senate; 11
3635 (5) one appointed by the minority leader of the House of 12
3736 Representatives; and (6) one appointed by the minority leader of the 13
3837 Senate. Not later than February 1, 2020, the working group shall report 14
3938 on its findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee 15
