2323 RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE STATE
2424 CONSTITUTION TO AUTOMATICALLY ADMIT SEVENTEEN -YEAR-
2525 OLD STATE RESIDENTS AS ELECTORS.

2828 That the Constitution of the state be amended to (1) automatically 1
2929 admit as an elector, without any requirement to apply for such 2
3030 admission, any citizen of the United States who has attained the age of 3
3131 seventeen years and who is a bona fide resident of any town in the 4
3232 state, (2) require notification of such admission to each newly admitted 5
3333 elector and to the registrars of voters of the town in which such newly 6
3434 admitted elector resides, and (3) require necessary funding to the office 7
3535 of the Secretary of the State for such admission and notification 8
3636 purposes. 9
3737 Statement of Purpose:
3838 To automatically register seventeen-year-old state residents to vote
3939 without requiring they apply for such registration, to provide
