Resolution Act No. 19-2
RESOLUTION ESTABLISH ING SEAVIEW VILLAGE IN
BRIDGEPORT AS A MUNI CIPAL ENERGY SAVINGS AREA.
Resolved by this Assembly:
WHEREAS, Seaview Village is a condominium community located
in the city of Bridgeport; and
WHEREAS, Seaview Village seeks to deliver clean technologies and
solutions designed to assist future fuel shortages in the United States;
and
WHEREAS, Seaview Village is committed to providing low-carbon
clean technologies to low-income and underserved communities while
providing energy security and reliability from interruption due to
severe weather; and
WHEREAS, Seaview Village strives to evolve private -public
partnerships that include stakeholders and public voices dedicated to
diversity and inclusion within its leadership structure and its
commitment to the underserved; and
WHEREAS, Seaview Village aims to develop strategic investment
through public-private partnerships to advance both short and long-
term investment in clean technologies in lower income and
underserved neighborhoods; and House Joint Resolution No. 57

WHEREAS, Seaview Village wants to share best practices and
promote efforts that encourage and help to change to a clean energy
economy that benefits all people who want a healthier, cleaner, safer
and less expensive community; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Connecticut
General Assembly establishes Seaview Village in Bridgeport as a
Municipal Energy Savings Area; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the clerks of the Senate and
House of Representatives cause a copy of this resolution to be sent to
the city of Bridgeport.
