23	23	RESOLUTION CONCERNIN G THE RULES OF THE HOUSE OF
24	24	REPRESENTATIVES FOR THE DECEMBER SPECIAL SESSION, 2019.
25	25	Resolved by this House:

27	27	That the rules of the House at this Special Session shall be the same 1
28	28	as the rules of the House in force at the 2019 regular session, except as 2
29	29	said rules are amended, altered or repealed in this resolution. 3

31	31	Strike out Rule 11 and insert in lieu thereof the following: 5
32	32	11. (a) Each bill or substantive resolution may be acted upon in the 6
33	33	House immediately after electronic notice of the filing and number of the 7
34	34	bill or substantive resolution is provided to the majority leader and the 8
35	35	minority leader, who shall be responsible for forwarding such notice to 9
36	36	the members of their respective caucuses, and after final action may be 10
37	37	transmitted immediately to the Senate. If the House rejects an 11
38	38	amendment adopted by the Senate, the bill or substantive resolution 12
39	39	after final action in the House may be transmitted immediately to the 13
40	40	Senate. If the Senate rejects an amendment adopted by the House, the bill 14

46	46	or substantive resolution when received from the Senate may be acted 15

48	48	(b) A bill or resolution certified in accordance with section 2-26 of 17
49	49	the general statutes, if filed in the House, may be transmitted to and 18
50	50	acted upon first by the Senate with the consent of the speaker; and if 19
51	51	filed in the Senate, may be transmitted to and acted upon first by the 20
52	52	House with the consent of the President Pro Tempore. 21
