AN ACT REQUIRING MANUFACTURERS OF BRAND NAME
PRESCRIPTION DRUGS TO PROVIDE SAMPLES OF SUCH DRUGS
TO MANUFACTURERS OF GENERIC PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require manufacturers of 1
brand name prescription drugs to provide samples of such drugs to 2
manufacturers of generic prescription drugs. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To lower the costs of prescription drugs.
