1919 AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTORAL PRIVILEGES OF PAROLEES
2020 AND CERTAIN INCARCERATED INDIVIDUALS.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to (1) permit all 1
2525 future felony convicts committed to confinement in a correctional 2
2626 institution or facility or a community residence to retain electoral 3
2727 privileges, (2) restore such privileges to felony convicts presently so 4
2828 confined, and (3) restore such privileges to felony convicts released 5
2929 from such confinement but who may not have been discharged from 6
3030 parole. 7
3131 Statement of Purpose:
3232 To provide for restoration of electoral privileges to parolees and
3333 individuals incarcerated as a result of felony convictions, and for
3434 retention of such privileges by individuals who may be so incarcerated
3535 in the future.
