AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTORAL PRIVILEGES OF PAROLEES 
AND CERTAIN INCARCERATED INDIVIDUALS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to (1) permit all 1 
future felony convicts committed to confinement in a correctional 2 
institution or facility or a community residence to retain electoral 3 
privileges, (2) restore such privileges to felony convicts presently so 4 
confined, and (3) restore such privileges to felony convicts released 5 
from such confinement but who may not have been discharged from 6 
parole. 7 
Statement of Purpose:   
To provide for restoration of electoral privileges to parolees and 
individuals incarcerated as a result of felony convictions, and for 
retention of such privileges by individuals who may be so incarcerated 
in the future.
