17 | 17 | | Assembly convened: |

19 | 19 | | Section 1. (Effective October 1, 2019) Not later than January 1, 2020, 1 |
---|
20 | 20 | | the Department of Developmental Services shall (1) analyze 2 |
---|
21 | 21 | | information, policies and terminology relating to medical assessments 3 |
---|
22 | 22 | | and update the department's level of need assessment, as defined in 4 |
---|
23 | 23 | | section 17a-238a of the general statutes, standardized screening tool 5 |
---|
24 | 24 | | and any other documentation associated with the level of need 6 |
---|
25 | 25 | | assessment, as necessary to reflect the most recent information, policies 7 |
---|
26 | 26 | | and terminology, and (2) within available appropriations, consult with 8 |
---|
27 | 27 | | family members, providers and advocates of persons with intellectual 9 |
---|
28 | 28 | | disability in updating the department's level of need assessment, 10 |
---|
29 | 29 | | standardized screening tool and other associated documentation. 11 |
---|
30 | 30 | | This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following |
