1818 AN ACT CONCERNING THE MINIMUM AGE AND PENALTY FOR
1919 ILLEGAL SALES OF ELECTRONIC NICOTINE DELIVERY SYSTEMS
2020 AND VAPOR PRODUCTS.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That the general statutes be amended to (1) raise the minimum age 1
2525 to purchase electronic nicotine delivery systems and vapor products to 2
2626 twenty-one, (2) increase the penalty to any seller, seller's agent or 3
2727 employee who sells to any person under the age of twenty-one an 4
2828 electronic nicotine delivery system or vapor product to six hundred 5
2929 dollars for the first offense, one thousand fifty dollars for the second 6
3030 offense and one thousand five hundred dollars for each subsequent 7
3131 offense, and (3) require any individual who uses electronic nicotine 8
3232 delivery systems or vapor products to disclose such use to their health 9
3333 insurance provider. 10
3434 Statement of Purpose:
3535 To discourage the use and illegal sale of electronic nicotine delivery
3636 systems and vapor products.
