2020 AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO A COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL
2121 COUNSELING PROGRAM.
2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2323 Assembly convened:

2525 That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the State 1
2626 Board of Education, in consultation with the Connecticut School 2
2727 Counselor Association, to adopt guidelines and recommendations that 3
2828 ensure that all students have access to a comprehensive school 4
2929 counseling program that includes manufacturing, trade, academic, 5
3030 social-emotional and post-secondary and career readiness 6
3131 programming delivered by a certified school counselor who has 7
3232 received adequate training. 8
3333 Statement of Purpose:
3434 To provide students with access to a comprehensive school counseling
