1212 AN ACT CONCERNING CO MPLAINTS OF WORKPLAC E VIOLENCE
1313 OR ABUSIVE CONDUCT I NVOLVING STATE EMPLOYEES.
1414 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
1515 Assembly convened:

1717 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Not later than February 1, 1
1818 2020, and annually thereafter, the Commissioner of Administrative 2
1919 Services shall submit a report, in accordance with the provisions of 3
2020 section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the Governor and to the joint 4
2121 standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of 5
2222 matters relating to government administration, labor and public 6
2323 employees, public safety and mental health and addiction services. 7
2424 Such report shall include (1) a summary of the number of complaints 8
2525 of workplace violence or abusive conduct involving state employees 9
2626 and the outcomes of such complaints for the preceding year, (2) 10
2727 recommendations for administrative or legislative action related to 11
2828 such complaints, and (3) any additional information or 12
2929 recommendations such commissioner deems necessary and relevant 13
3030 regarding the reporting, prevention, evaluation and investigation of 14
3131 such complaints. 15
3232 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
