1818 AN ACT CONCERNING A PERMIT FOR CERTAIN COMMERCIAL
1919 TRUCKS THAT HAUL AGGREGATE MATERIALS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner 1
2424 of Transportation to create a new transportation permit for commercial 2
2525 trucks that haul aggregate materials not exceeding one hundred 3
2626 thousand pounds for a distance not to exceed one-half mile and that do 4
2727 not cross state or local bridges and to ensure that such permit costs no 5
2828 more than ten times the cost of a daily overload permit. 6
2929 Statement of Purpose:
3030 To create an opportunity for Connecticut businesses to remain
3131 competitive by establishing a new transportation permit for certain
3232 commercial trucks that haul aggregate materials.
