2222 AN ACT CONCERNING OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH
2323 ADMINISTRATION TEN-HOUR TRAINING CARDS.
2424 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2525 Assembly convened:

2727 That the general statutes be amended to make Occupational Safety 1
2828 and Health Administration ten-hour training cards valid for ten years 2
2929 before requiring renewal for contractors that have employees doing 3
3030 work on a public building project that is being paid for in part or in 4
3131 full by state funding or a state agency, where the total cost for such 5
3232 project is over one hundred thousand dollars. 6
3333 Statement of Purpose:
3434 To reduce costs to state contractors by extending Occupational Safety
3535 and Health Administration ten-hour training card validity from five
3636 years to ten years.
