AN ACT CONCERNING OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH 
ADMINISTRATION TEN-HOUR TRAINING CARDS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to make Occupational Safety 1 
and Health Administration ten-hour training cards valid for ten years 2 
before requiring renewal for contractors that have employees doing 3 
work on a public building project that is being paid for in part or in 4 
full by state funding or a state agency, where the total cost for such 5 
project is over one hundred thousand dollars. 6 
Statement of Purpose:   
To reduce costs to state contractors by extending Occupational Safety 
and Health Administration ten-hour training card validity from five 
years to ten years.
