2019 AN ACT CONCERNING CH ILDREN'S SAFETY.
2120 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2423 Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2019) The Commissioner of Children and 1
2524 Families shall conduct a study to determine whether policy and 2
2625 procedural changes within the Department of Children and Families 3
2726 may increase the safety of children in the care and custody of the 4
2827 commissioner. The commissioner shall report, in accordance with the 5
2928 provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of such 6
3029 study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having 7
3130 cognizance of matters relating to children on or before January 1, 2020. 8
3231 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
