General Assembly Substitute Bill No. 860

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A LAW ENFORCEMENT SU PPORT OFFICE
PROGRAM ACCOUNT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2019) There is established an 1
account to be known as the "law enforcement support office program 2
account" which shall be a separate, nonlapsing account within the 3
General Fund. The account shall contain any moneys required by law 4
to be deposited in the account which shall include, but not be limited 5
to, all fees paid to the Military Department by local law enforcement 6
agencies of this state for the purpose of participating in the law 7
enforcement support program administered by said department and 8
established under 10 USC 2576a, as amended from time to time. 9
Moneys in the account shall be expended by the Adjutant General for 10
the purpose of administering the operations of the law enforcement 11
support program. 12
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
