AN ACT REQUIRING THE STUDY OF THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY IN
THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2019) (a) The chairperson of the Public 1
Utilities Regulatory Authority shall conduct a study regarding the use 2
of technology in the state. 3
(b) Not later than July 1, 2020, the chairperson of the Public Utilities 4
Regulatory Authority, in accordance with section 11-4a of the general 5
statutes, shall report the results of the study conducted pursuant to 6
subsection (a) of this section to the joint standing committee of the 7
General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to energy and 8
technology. 9
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 July 1, 2019 New section
