2019 AN ACT ESTABLISHING A CYBER TECHNOLOGY COMPETITI ON
2120 FOR CERTAIN STUDENTS .
2221 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2524 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2019) (a) The Military 1
2625 Department shall establish, within available appropriations, a cyber 2
2726 technology competition for students who are attending a secondary 3
2827 school program of education in this state. Such cyber technology 4
2928 competition shall be held for the purpose of encouraging such students 5
3029 to collaborate with government agencies and private industry to 6
3130 strengthen and secure information systems. Such cyber technology 7
3231 competition shall be held each year at the State Armory in Hartford. 8
3332 The Military Department shall promote such cyber technology 9
3433 competition with outreach to school districts in this state. 10
3534 (b) The Military Department shall establish rules and guidelines for 11
3635 the implementation of the cyber technology competition described in 12
3736 subsection (a) of this act. Such rules and guidelines shall be posted 13
