2019 AN ACT CONCERNING TH E REGULATION OF STORMWATER.
2120 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2423 Section 1. (Effective from passage) Not later than February 1, 2020, in 1
2524 accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, 2
2625 the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection shall 3
2726 submit recommendations to the joint standing committee of the 4
2827 General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to the 5
2928 environment concerning: (1) Any revisions to the state's requirements 6
3029 for municipalities pursuant to the municipal separate storm sewer 7
3130 system general permit, (2) methods for reducing any fiscal burdens for 8
3231 municipalities that are associated with complying with such 9
3332 stormwater general permit requirements, (3) best practices for the 10
3433 effective management of stormwater by municipalities, regardless of 11
3534 whether such practices are required pursuant to such stormwater 12
3635 general permit, and (4) the establishment or utilization of funding 13
3736 sources for municipalities to both employ such best practices and to 14
