Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2019) Not later than July 1, 2020, the 1 Commissioner of Public Health shall adopt regulations, in accordance 2 with the provisions of chapter 54 of the general statutes, to permit any 3 director of health to issue a permit for a temporary food service 4 establishment for a period exceeding fourteen days to any vendor that 5 intends to serve food and drink in a combined food hall and 6 marketplace. 7 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: Section 1 July 1, 2019 New section Statement of Purpose: To require the Commissioner of Public Health to authorize any director of health to issue a permit for a temporary food service establishment for a period exceeding fourteen days to any vendor that Raised Bill No. 1075 LCO No. 5909 2 of 2 intends to serve food and drink in a combined food hall and marketplace.
