9	32		AN ACT APPROVING THE SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN
10	33		THE STATE OF CONNECT ICUT ET AL., AND THE CONNECTICUT
11	34		HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION ET AL.
12	35		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
13	36		Assembly convened:

15		-	Section 1. (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding the provisions of
16		-	section 3-125a of the general statutes concerning the referral of a
17		-	settlement agreement to, and the report by, the committees of
18		-	cognizance of the General Assembly and the acceptance of the
19		-	provisions of the settlement agreement by resolution of the General
20		-	Assembly, the settlement agreement between the state of Connecticut et
21		-	al., and the Connecticut Hospital Association and its member hospitals
22		-	identified in such settlement agreement, and submitted by the Attorney
23		-	General to the General Assembly on December 5, 2019, for approval
24		-	pursuant to section 3-125a of the general statutes, is approved.
