AN ACT APPROVING THE SETTLEMENT AGREEMEN T BETWEEN
THE STATE OF CONNECT ICUT ET AL., AND THE CONNECTICUT
HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION ET AL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding the provisions of
section 3-125a of the general statutes concerning the referral of a
settlement agreement to, and the report by, the committees of
cognizance of the General Assembly and the acceptance of the
provisions of the settlement agreement by resolution of the General
Assembly, the settlement agreement between the state of Connecticut et
al., and the Connecticut Hospital Association and its member hospitals
identified in such settlement agreement, and submitted by the Attorney
General to the General Assembly on December 5, 2019, for approval
pursuant to section 3-125a of the general statutes, is approved.
