| 27 | 27 | Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2020) Any veteran, as defined in 1 | |
| 28 | 28 | section 27-103 of the general statutes, who has qualified to appear on a 2 | |
| 29 | 29 | Commissioner of Administrative Services' candidate list for original 3 | |
| 30 | 30 | appointments in accordance with section 5-224 of the general statutes 4 | |
| 31 | 31 | shall be granted an interview during the hiring process for filling 5 | |
| 32 | 32 | original appointment vacancies within state agencies. 6 | |
