1818 AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO COUNSEL IN CERTAIN
1919 SUMMARY PROCESS PROCEEDINGS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2323 That chapter 832 of the general statutes be amended to provide 1
2424 counsel to any person who has been named as defendant in a summary 2
2525 process proceeding who faces dispossession from a rental premises as a 3
2626 result of being negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 4
2727 Statement of Purpose:
2828 To ensure that any tenant negatively affected by the COVID-19
2929 pandemic has access to legal counsel in a summary process proceeding.
