1818 AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY STATE
1919 STANDARDIZED TESTING OF STUDENTS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2323 That the general statutes be amended to establish a task force, which 1
2424 consists of certified teachers from school districts of varying 2
2525 demographics and grade levels, to study and develop recommendations 3
2626 concerning the need for state standardized testing and its impact on 4
2727 students. 5
2828 Statement of Purpose:
2929 To establish a task force to evaluate all aspects and impacts of state-
3030 mandated standardized testing on students, and provide
3131 recommendations on ways to improve implementation and methods of
3232 measuring student achievement.
