AN ACT CONCERNING THE REMOVAL OF COVID -19 RELATED
LAYOFFS FROM THE UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION
EXPERIENCE ACCOUNT FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2021.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to exclude Covid-19 related 1
layoffs from the unemployment compensation experience account and 2
new contribution rate for the calendar year 2021. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To provide relief to businesses as a result of Covid-19 related losses.
