| 23 | 23 | That section 10-262u of the general statutes be amended to permit a 1 | |
| 24 | 24 | local or regional board of education for an alliance district that will 2 | |
| 25 | 25 | experience an increase in the amount of alliance district funding it will 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | receive in the next fiscal year, to utilize up to ten per cent of any such 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | increase in a manner outside of its alliance district plan, provided such 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | board (1) expends such funds in accordance with the provisions of 6 | |
| 29 | 29 | section 10-262i of the general statutes, and (2) increases its local 7 | |
| 30 | 30 | appropriation in an amount equal to such increase for such fiscal year. 8 | |
