| 22 | 22 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |

| 25 | 25 | That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to provide that: (1) 1 | |
| 26 | 26 | No insurer delivering, issuing for delivery, renewing, amending or 2 | |
| 27 | 27 | continuing a life insurance policy, long-term care insurance policy or a 3 | |
| 28 | 28 | policy providing disability income protection coverage in this state on 4 | |
| 29 | 29 | or after January 1, 2022, shall make any distinction or discriminate 5 | |
| 30 | 30 | against an individual in delivering, issuing for delivery, renewing, 6 | |
| 31 | 31 | amending, continuing, offering, withholding or cancelling such policy, 7 | |
| 32 | 32 | or in the terms of such policy, solely because such individual is a living 8 | |
| 33 | 33 | organ donor; and (2) prohibited discrimination against a living organ 9 | |
| 34 | 34 | donor constitutes a violation of the Connecticut Unfair Insurance 10 | |
