1818 AN ACT REQUIRING CONNECTICUT TO JOIN THE PSYCHOLOGY
1919 INTERJURISDICTIONAL COMPACT.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to require Connecticut to join 1
2424 the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact and allow (1) a psychologist 2
2525 licensed in a state that participates in the compact to practice telehealth 3
2626 in Connecticut without requiring that the psychologist be licensed 4
2727 under chapter 383 of the general statutes, and (2) a psychologist licensed 5
2828 under chapter 383 of the general statutes to practice telehealth in another 6
2929 state that participates in the compact without requiring that the 7
3030 psychologist be licensed in that state. 8
3131 Statement of Purpose:
3232 To provide patients greater access to care, allow licensed psychologists
3333 to provide continuity of care as patients relocate to other states and help
3434 ensure patients are better protected from harm.
