AN ACT CONCERNING VETERANS' BENEFITS FOR VETERANS 
DISCHARGED OTHER THAN HONORABLY. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to expand eligibility for state 1 
veterans' benefits to veterans who were discharged other than 2 
honorably due solely to their sexual orientation, gender identity or 3 
gender expression. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To expand eligibility for state veterans' benefits to veterans who were 
discharged other than honorably due solely to their sexual orientation, 
gender identity or gender expression.
