| 25 | 25 | That subsection (a) of section 12-170f of the general statutes be 1 | |
| 26 | 26 | amended to eliminate obstacles to rental relief for senior citizens and 2 | |
| 27 | 27 | persons with disabilities by (1) exempting a renter from a notarization 3 | |
| 28 | 28 | requirement if a landlord verification for the same property rental by 4 | |
| 29 | 29 | the same renter has been previously notarized, and (2) not delaying 5 | |
| 30 | 30 | submission of the rental relief application of an otherwise qualified 6 | |
| 31 | 31 | renter to the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management if the 7 | |
| 32 | 32 | renter (A) fails to meet a deadline for notarizing such landlord 8 | |
| 33 | 33 | verification, or (B) fails to meet a deadline for submission because of 9 | |
