AN ACT CONCERNING TH E USE OF COVID-19 RELIEF FUNDS TO
REPLENISH THE UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENS ATION TRUST FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Secretary of the Office of Policy 1
and Management shall deposit ____ dollars, from the undisbursed 2
portion of funds received by the state pursuant to the Coronavirus Aid, 3
Relief, and Economic Security Act, P.L. 116-136, as amended from time 4
to time, and the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental 5
Appropriations Act, P.L. 116-260, as amended from time to time, into 6
the Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 from passage New section
Statement of Purpose:
To require that a portion of COVID-19 relief funds be deposited into the
Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund.
