1919 AN ACT EXTENDING TUITION WAIVERS TO THE PARENTS OF A
2020 PERSON KILLED IN ACTION WHILE PERFORMING ACTIVE MILITARY

2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2323 Assembly convened:

2525 That sections 10a-77, 10a-99 and 10a-105 of the general statutes be 1
2626 amended to require the Board of Regents for Higher Education and the 2
2727 Board of Trustees of The University of Connecticut to waive the 3
2828 payment of tuition at an institution of higher education under each 4
2929 board's governance for any resident of the state whose child was killed 5
3030 in action while performing active military duty with the armed forces of 6
3131 the United States on or after September 11, 2001. 7
3232 Statement of Purpose:
3333 To provide a tuition waiver at public institutions of higher education for
3434 the parents of a person killed in action while performing active military
3535 duty with the armed forces of the United States.
