| 25 | 25 | to promptly reimburse health care providers, and provide that a health 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | care provider shall be entitled to interest if a health carrier, independent 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | practice association or physician hospital organization fails to promptly 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | reimburse the health care provider. 6 | |
| 29 | 29 | Statement of Purpose: | |
| 30 | 30 | To require health carriers, independent practice associations and | |
| 31 | 31 | physician hospital organizations to promptly reimburse health care | |
| 32 | 32 | providers, and provide that a health care provider shall be entitled to | |
| 33 | 33 | interest if a health carrier, independent practice association or physician | |
| 34 | 34 | hospital organization fails to promptly reimburse the health care | |
