| 23 | 23 | That titles 10 and 10a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit, 1 | |
| 24 | 24 | for the school year commencing July 1, 2021, and each school year 2 | |
| 25 | 25 | thereafter, a local or regional board of education, the Board of Regents 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | for Higher Education and the Board of Trustees of The University of 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | Connecticut from adopting or using any name, symbol or image that 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | depicts or refers to a Native American tribe, individual, custom or 6 | |
| 29 | 29 | tradition as a mascot, nickname, logo, letterhead or team name for any 7 | |
| 30 | 30 | school under the jurisdiction of such boards. 8 | |
