2222 AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
2323 NONPROFIT GRANT PROGRAM.
2424 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2525 Assembly convened:

2727 That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
2828 issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
2929 general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
3030 fifty million dollars, provided twenty-five million dollars of such 4
3131 authorization shall be effective July 1, 2022, the proceeds of which shall 5
3232 be used by the Office of Policy and Management for the purpose of 6
3333 providing grants-in-aid to private, nonprofit health and human service 7
3434 organizations that are exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal 8
3535 Revenue Code of 1986, and that receive funds from the state to provide 9
3636 direct health or human services to state agency clients, for alterations, 10
3737 renovations, improvements, additions and new construction, including 11
3838 health, safety, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and 12
