AN ACT CONCERNING THE TRUST ACT. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That section 54-192h of the general statutes be amended to repeal the 1 
2019 amendments to said section, that protect an individual from being 2 
detained subject to a federal immigration detainer who (1) have pending 3 
criminal charges, (2) have an outstanding arrest warrant, (3) are 4 
identified as a known gang member, (4) are subject to a final order of 5 
deportation, or (5) present an unacceptable risk to public safety. 6 
Statement of Purpose:   
To improve the public safety of the people of Connecticut by allowing 
law enforcement to cooperate with federal authorities in the detention 
of undocumented persons in the United States who are accused of 
serious crimes.
