3131 AN ACT CONCERNING THE CREATION OF A STATE -WIDE
3232 STANDARD CENTRAL SURVEY RELATING TO SCHOOL CLIMATE.
3333 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
3434 Assembly convened:

3636 That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
3737 Department of Education to create a state-wide standard central survey 2
3838 relating to school climate that will measure the social determinants of 3
3939 health and household food security using validated, evidence-based 4
4040 measures consistent with the federal community populations survey 5
4141 and behavioral risk surveillance survey. 6
4242 Statement of Purpose:
4343 To require the Department of Education to create a state-wide standard
4444 central survey relating to school climate that will allow for
4545 contextualization of data in national framework and comparison across
4646 districts.
