AN ACT CONCERNING THE CREATION OF A STATE -WIDE STANDARD CENTRAL SURVEY RELATING TO SCHOOL CLIMATE. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1 Department of Education to create a state-wide standard central survey 2 relating to school climate that will measure the social determinants of 3 health and household food security using validated, evidence-based 4 measures consistent with the federal community populations survey 5 and behavioral risk surveillance survey. 6 Statement of Purpose: To require the Department of Education to create a state-wide standard central survey relating to school climate that will allow for contextualization of data in national framework and comparison across districts.
