27 | 27 | That chapter 170 of the general statutes be amended to require local 1 | |
28 | 28 | and regional boards of education to (1) annually provide information to 2 | |
29 | 29 | students in grades six to twelve, inclusive, and the parents and 3 | |
30 | 30 | guardians of such students, of the availability of mental health 4 | |
31 | 31 | resources, services and crisis counseling, such as the United Way of 5 | |
32 | 32 | Connecticut 2-1-1 Infoline program, and (2) print information regarding 6 | |
33 | 33 | the suicide prevention hotline on student identification cards. 7 | |

36 | 36 | mental health and anxiety that have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 | |
