| 23 | 23 | That section 25-43c of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 | |
| 24 | 24 | prior to any proposed change by a water company of the rules regarding 2 | |
| 25 | 25 | recreational activity on a public water supply storage or distribution 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | reservoir, such water company shall (1) give written notice of such 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | proposed change to the chief executive officer of each municipality 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | bordering such reservoir and to the owner of each residential property 6 | |
| 29 | 29 | that abuts such reservoir, and (2) receive approval from each such chief 7 | |
| 30 | 30 | executive officer and owner regarding such proposed change before 8 | |
| 31 | 31 | submitting such proposed change to the Commissioners of Public 9 | |
| 32 | 32 | Health and Energy and Environmental Protection. 10 | |
