AN ACT CREATING THE OFFICE OF UNEMPLOYED WORKERS'
ADVOCATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to develop an independent 1
Office of Unemployed Workers' Advocate to provide those filing 2
unemployment claims assistance and guidance. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the burden on the Labor Department's staff and provide
greater support for claimants of unemployment benefits.
